Resourcefulness

Are you a self starter? Do you just get told what to do and do no thinking yourself? Are you resourceful?!

Being resourceful equals adding value to your envirnoment. A resourceful person surfaces (identifies) problems and thinks of serveral solutions. As Christian's God expects us to use his anointing and our talents, giftings, personality and opportunities that He has given to us for His glory. As young people we have no excuse in being resourceful where God has placed us at home, school, colleage, work, church, neighbourhood and wherever.

Examples in the Bible are numerous:

Joseph; Gen 39:5 And from the time when he made him overseer and gave him control of all his property, the blessing of the Lord was with the Egyptian, because of Joseph; the blessing of the Lord was on all he had, in the house and in the field.

Gen 39:22 And the keeper of the prison put all the prisoners under Joseph's control, and he was responsible for whatever was done there.

Gen 41:55 And when all the land of Egypt was in need of food, the people came crying to Pharaoh for bread; and Pharaoh said to the people, Go to Joseph, and whatever he says to you, do it.

Gen 41:57 And all lands sent to Egypt, to Joseph, to get grain, for the need was great over all the earth.

Dorcas; Acts 9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, that is, Dorcas: this woman was given to good works and acts of mercy at all times. Acts 9:40 But Peter made them all go outside, and went down on his knees in prayer; and turning to the body, he said, Tabitha, get up.
