'In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and darkness has not overcome it.' (John 1:4—5)

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give /torn the fountain of water of life without payment. He who conquers shall have this heritage, and I will he his God and he shall be my son."' (Revelation 21:5–6)
