Submission, Subjugation or Slavery?

Will you or will not do what your told?

We all belong to each other, influence each other, and need each other.

Question: how do you see leadership/ authority? A chain of command? As compassion and cooperation or someother perspective?

Question: How would you exercise authority given the chance?

The world's philosophy is: take care of number one, even if you have to walk on people to do it. The Christian's philosophy is (or ought to be): submit to God's authority, be a servant, and expect to be occasionally walked on by others. Lucifer took the first route and became Satan, the enemy of God; Jesus took the second route and became the suffering servant of God who today is the exalted King of kings. Lucifer has always wanted us to follow him hence the fall of man in the garden of eden after disobeying God. Jesus however releases us to submit to God and says if any man come after me let him take up his cross and follow me.

Authority is important to the welfare of nations, organizations, homes, and individuals. Without some kind of authority, we would all be horribly mired in anarchy. The young artist develops his or her talent by submitting to authority, listening, watching, and learning. Successful athletes yield to the skill and wisdom of their coaches and do what they're told. The godly Christian submits to the authority of Jesus Christ, all godly authority which includes; parents, teachers, guardians, tutors, mentors, the government and the spiritual leaders of the church and seeks to build the church by being a servant.
